George Constantelis
Founder & CEO
George Constantelis is Greek-Canadian, born on the island of Lemnos in Greece and raised in Montreal, Canada. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Concordia University, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from McGill University and the (GMP) General Management Program at INSEAD/CEDEP. He has also attended post graduate management programs at Columbia Business School, London Business School and at IMD International.He is the Founder and CEO of GeoVent Corporation, a Group of Companies with great aspirations in investing in Greece. The corporation currently includes three pharmaceutical companies.
George Constantelis worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb for 21 years. During this time he held positions of increasing responsibility, having lived and worked in Brussels as the Director of Marketing of Oncology Products for Europe, in Paris as the Senior Director, Marketing & Business Development of Oncology products for Europe, in Budapest as the Managing Director for Hungary, Romania & Bulgaria and in Athens as President & Managing Director of Greece, Cyprus & Malta.
He was Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) as well as a member of the Board of both the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Companies.
